Girls and boys - learn the basics, practice your skills, play on a team, and just have fun in our recreational leagues, camps, clinics, and tournaments.


Fall CARA Volleyball

Learn volleyball basics, practice the fundamentals, and compete against other metro area recreational teams. In this team-oriented league, we emphasize equal play.

Who: We have four levels: Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and High School, Grades 9 -12. Boys and girls are welcome!
When: Games:September - November (Practices start week of August 28)
Practice: Grades 3-4 will practice one hour a week and all other grades will practice two hours a week.  Practice times and locations are determined by coaches. Practices are usually held Mon- Fri between 5 - 9 pm.
Games: Teams will play in 2-3 Saturday tournaments between September 9- October 28, including a State Tournament on November 4, at various metro area recreation centers.
Price: Grades 3-4: $61 Resident, $73 Nonresident; Grades 5-12: $76 Resident, $88 Nonresident
Registration Opens: 8am, Sunday, July 9
Registration Deadline: 5pm Friday, August 18

Volleyball Instructional Camps

Build your skills in passing, setting, serving, and hitting. Each day you'll work on one skill by playing a variety of games and fun drills that balance between competition and sportsmanship. Ages 7-15.

Where: Clarkson Park
When:  Tues/Thurs, June 6-29 6:00-7:30pm
Price: $88 Resident/ $100 Nonresident

Where: Lone Tree Elem Park
When:  M-F,  June 5-9, July 10-14, July 24-28 9-10:30am
Price: $55 Resident/ $63 Nonresident

Where: deKoevend Park
When:  M-F,  June 12-16, July 10-14, July 17-21 9-10:30am

Volunteer to Coach

Interested in volunteering to coach a youth sports team? Follow these steps:

  1. Click Here and fill out coaching application
  2. Complete Concussion Awareness Training (choose one):
  3. Submit Concussion Awareness Training certificate to the Athletics Office by:

  4. Contact the Athletics Office or league coordinator to inform them that you want to coach and for additional information
  5. Tell your players to sign up for your team!
