Community Service

South Suburban Parks and Recreation offers community service opportunities.  All applicants must be at least 16 years old and pass a background check. Please be advised that we do not accept individuals who have a history or have been convicted of violent crimes whether sexual, drug, arson or theft related. South Suburban offers students unpaid internships to enhance their educational opportunities.  As an added bonus some recreational benefits are offered along with the internships.
