American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguard Training course teaches candidates the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Upon successful completion candidate will receive certification in ARC Shallow Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Learn injury prevention, facility safety, patron surveillance, emergency preparation, equipment based rescues and spinal injury management.
Students must attend all classes of every session. No refunds or make-ups due to illness or injury.

Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously using freestyle and breaststroke, demonstrating rhythmic breathing.
Complete :50 second timed event: Swim 20 yards and retrieve a brick from a 5 foot depth and swim it back, on back, with both hands on brick; tread water without hands for 2 minutes
