Pam Eller and Ken Lucas have each been elected to serve a four-year term on the South Suburban Board of Directors. They will join current board members Susan Pye, Dave Lawful and Pete Barrett. South Suburban will be creating fewer emissions this summer, as employees in the Parks Department were awarded funding to purchase electric lawn equipment from the Regional Air Quality Council’s Mow Down Pollution Public Entity Lawn & Garden Grant.
South Suburban and Arapahoe County Open Spaces have been studying the Mary Carter Greenway to identify ways to improve safety, comfort and capacity along the trail. Community members were invited to share input through an online survey last year, and are now invited to share feedback on proposed project ideas.
