Free and discounted preschool is available this year! South Suburban is participating in Universal Preschool Colorado and encourages families to enroll. Enrollment is on a continuous basis throughout the school year! Preschool and Prekindergarten are offered at Goodson and Lone Tree recreation centers, which both offer kid-favorite amenities like gym time to move around, indoor pools, special visitors like South Platte Park and Kidokinetics, access to parks and more!

Mosquitoes at multiple locations in Arapahoe County have tested positive for West Nile virus.  

District residents are invited to provide input on projects and priorities at public hearings for next year’s budget.

South Suburban youth hockey programs will look a little different starting this fall! Focus on hockey development in the new Learn to Play series for all abilities and ages.

Each year, South Suburban closes its recreation centers to deep clean and make improvements. Learn more about 2023 maintenance closures. 

Experience a classic play at deKoevend Park with free theatre troupe performances of As You Like It. The public is invited to enjoy performances each evening from Aug. 18-20 and 25-27, all starting at 7:30 pm.
