July is Park and Recreation Month, and South Suburban is celebrating all of the ways our parks, trails, open spaces, recreation facilities and programs help foster a sense of belonging in our community.

The South Suburban Board of Directors appointed Lone Tree resident Cathie Frazzini to fill the vacant board seat at its May 22 special business meeting. Frazzini will serve the remainder of the vacant term (May 2025), due to the resignation of Susan Pye.
Need to get rid of large tree limbs? Residents are invited to bring materials for chipping on June 1 from 8 am-12 pm.
South Suburban’s Director of Skating, Gerry Lane, was inducted into the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) Hall of Fame at the 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Access to Excellence Reception held on May 15.
Enjoy free concerts at Prairie Sky Park (9381 Crossington Way, Lone Tree, CO 80124) on June 18 and July 16, brought to you by RidgeGate and South Suburban. Festivities, including food trucks and vendors, start at 5 pm, and bands will hit the stage from 6-8 pm.
South Suburban was named a finalist for the 2024 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management on May 2, by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
