SSIA-Pickleball

This temporary facility is the home location for indoor pickleball and archery programs provided by South Suburban. Half of the facility has been converted to six indoor pickleball courts on a traditional tennis court surface. The other half of the facility is home to one of the largest indoor archery facilities in the area. The temporary facility is the former South Suburban Ice Arena building that hosted local, regional and national figure skating and hockey tournaments for more than 50 years.

About Pickleball

This badminton/tennis/table tennis-like sport is the fastest growing sport in South Suburban. This fun and social game is perfect for all ages, easy to learn and provides a great physical workout.
