The South Suburban Board of Directors passed a resolution on Wednesday, October 14, to support the Littleton Public Schools (LPS) Ballot Issue 4C. The question on the November 3, 2020, ballot asks voters to approve a $12 million tax increase to address state budget cuts.
South Suburban believes that a YES vote is important to allow LPS to continue to attract and retain quality teachers; maintain school counseling for mental health and suicide prevention; and provide career, technology, and skilled trade classes that equip students with real world job skills such as health care, computer science, and trades.
