Each year, South Suburban closes its recreation centers to deep clean and make improvements. While your local center is closed, passes and punches may be used at any other South Suburban recreation center.

2024 Maintenance Week Closures:

Lone Tree Recreation Center: 
Closed Aug. 5-9

Improvements include: 
New flooring in the preschool room
Resurface water slide and re-caulk seams
Install new window coverings
Sound system replacement
Resurface wood floors
Touch up painting throughout facility
Cabinet replacement
Facility deep clean

Buck Recreation Center: 
Closed Aug. 12-16

Improvements include:
New flooring in Atchinson Room
Install new window coverings
Replacement of moveable walls in multi-purpose rooms
New gym lighting
Touch up painting throughout facility
Cabinet replacement
Resurface wood floors
Facility deep clean 

Goodson Recreation Center: 
Closed Aug. 26-30 (Cardio room closed until Sept. 12)

Improvements include:
Install new window coverings
Repair lobby tile
New cardio equipment
Flooring replacement in cardio area
Install new water fountain
Facility deep clean
